Accept Online Payments

Streamline access to the learning experiences you offer.

Our payment service makes it easy for students to access meetups and pre-recorded lesson & courses that you create in your studio.

Overview

Meetup pages and pre-recorded lessons & courses are considered products in your studio. You can sell acces to these products using our Payment Service, which makes it easy for your students to make a payment, and keeps track of the transactions for your records.

It is not required that you use our payment service to provide access to meetups and pre-recorded publications. If you use your own payment system, you can create free, private products and manually grant access to them.

Using our payment service takes work off your shoulders by making it easier to manage your financial data and who can access to your meetups.

Recieving Multiple Payments From Students

When you work with students on an ongoing basis, multiple payments are typically required. To accomplish this, you can setup multiple payments on your Meetup page. Each payment enables access to your new sessions. When a new payment is needed, all you have to do is create a new payment request.

Recieving Recurring Payments From Students

Currently, recurring payments is not supported, but is on our roadmap. We want to hear from you. What kind of recurring payments do you need? Send your thoughts to support@musiclessons.com.

How Do I Get Paid?

You will be reimbursed at the beginning of each month by check for the balance of your account, provided your balance is at least $50 USD. Automatic payments will be available in the near future.

Requirements

To use our Payment Service, you must be able to file taxes in the United States and have a United States postal address. You will be required to fill out an online US Tax Form W-9 in your studio that is kept up to date. You will receive a US Tax Form 1099 when you make more than $20,000 in a calendar year.

Fees: How Much Does It Cost?

You will be charged a service fee that is calculated based on the plan that is assigned to your account and the total purchase price of the product being sold. See our pricing page to compare plans. The service fee will be deducted at the time of the sale, so no out of pocket expenses will be incurred.
