I bring to my online lessons a solid and expansive education in music performance, theory, and composition in different styles.  I explain and display the tools for creating music in a variety of ways, for a diversity of learning methods.  I began piano lessons at age 8 at the Hartt School of Music and continued my studies to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Sarah Lawrence College and a Master of Music in Composition from Brooklyn College Conservatory. 

I teach an aggressive curriculum, but one that is tailored to the student's individual strengths and weaknesses, and I always remain gentle and patient while guiding my students through the rewarding process of learning to create music.
