The Dorian mode is the second mode or scale found within the major scale and is THE default scale to be used against minor chords in most popular improvised music styles.

Introduction

The dorian mode is one the most used modes in jazz improvisation.  In this video you will learn  one and two-octave patterns for the Dorian mode. You will also begin to see how to connect scale patterns and use these sounds to create interesting melodies.
