Harmony 7 - Four Note Chords And Inversions Part Two

Taught by: Corey Christiansen

Intermediate, Advanced

Learn to master a wide variety of 7th chords in all their inversions all over the fretboard. This intuitive approach makes learning 7th chords and all of their inversions much quicker and easier.

Introduction

Sometimes the strength of the guitar is the weakness of the guitar in that learning only "shapes" can be limiting. Pianists are typically more advanced than guitarists in their harmonic knowledge because they have learned the "nuts and bolts" of harmony. They know and can see how the chords work. In this lesson you will learn how to manipulate a 7th chord voicing in functional and visual way allowing you to create many other chords and voicings.  This intuitive approach makes learning 7th chords and all of their inversions much quicker and easier.
