Harmony 5 - 7th Chords And Extended Harmony

Taught by: Corey Christiansen

Intermediate, Advanced

Learn how to build and construct extended harmonies that build on 7th chord (four-note) voicings.

Introduction

One of the beautiful things about jazz harmony is the use of extended harmony and embellishments. All great jazz musicians and guitarists know how to create sophistication and colors with their harmony and voicings. In this lesson you will learn how to add harmonic embellishments such as 9th's, 11th's and 13's to 7th chords (four-note voicings).
