Hello and welcome to my lesson page ! I've been playing and performing professionally around the country for many years with a variety of different bands and groups, and teaching guitar privately for just as long. I enjoy playing and teaching a wide variety of styles ans currently teach about 35 private students per week currently in the St Louis area as well as my online lessons and performing opportunities. Here is a partial list of my educational and musical experiences - Grew up in Iowa City, Iowa playing rock music of all kinds as well as jazz and country. Studied music, music theory, and jazz performance at the University of Iowa and played in the U of I Jazz Band. Toured nationally with several rock groups over many years including "Midnite Special" and "Media" throughout the 80's and 90's. Played on numerous Albums and CD's and recording sessions for a variety of artists.   Currently I am performing with the "Dogs Of Society - Ultimate Elton John Rock Tribute",  Paint The Earth,  Elevation - The U2 Tribute,  "Magazine" Heart Tribute,   as well as the guitarist for Grace Church St Louis, I am also fortunate to be able to perform numerous sideman gigs and sessions in the St Louis area. Through this series of online lessons I look forward to passing on my love of the guitar as well as the knowledge, techniques and experience I have acquired through years of playing and learning about the guitar and music in general, as well as gear and performance tips.  I sincerely look forward to helping you in your journey to becoming a better player no matter your experience or ability level !
