I have a BA in musicology and certificates in music and chamber music coaching from the New England Conservatory of Music, the Conservatory at Rivers, the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music, and Hampshire College. I opened my studio soon after graduation to offer private lessons on mandolin in Amherst, MA. I teach now out of my studio in Granby, MA, only 10 miles south of where I started! I teach all ages, but have worked closely with adults for a long time so I know the tricks of the trade very well! In addition to private classes in person and online, I teach a Mandolin for Beginners class Wednesdays at 7pm, and a class called Mandolin Mondays for advanced players.
