We all have students that are less motivated/talented/interested than others, but how do you handle those students that just don't seem to practice or even want to be there.  Do you feel like it's a failure on your part to make them want to learn? Have you ever fired a student?

This is a great question.  I always approach this topic as a puzzle.  Each student is unique and I feel that my job as the teacher is to help find a way to get the spark of interest into a burning flame of passion.   This is the key ingredient to my students practicing.    I have made a short video that I send to parents that explains this in more detail:

A wonderful Acapella Tribute to Bob Marley - Could You Be Loved

What an amazing to watch, beautiful tribute to Bob! This awesome a capella version of Bob Marley's 'Could You Be Loved' was made by Israeli musicians in honor of what would have been the late Marley's 70th Birthday. - Open Video
