Ear Training 101 - Online Class
A video featuring a few minutes from an hour long online Ear Training class I did a few weeks ago.
We were using "Movable Do" during the whole session.
We started by recognizing our "Do" or the key center. We always are changing keys in order to evoke our long term memory.
Then we practice singing (active) and recognizing (passive) the following elements against "Do":
- Single Notes
- Melodic Patterns
- Diatonic Triads
- Intervals
We also did some Solfege training which is not featured in this video.
