I am a music educator and music therapist with an extensive background working with individuals of all ages and abilities. I have been teaching in various settings for over 10 years, and have been working in music therapy for 8 years. 

I achieved my BFA in piano performance at Tulane University in 2015, followed by a postbaccalaureate equivalency in music therapy at Berklee College of Music in 2017. My primary background is in classical piano, but I have been playing guitar and ukulele for most of my life as well, and have a deep interest in folk and pop music too. 

As a teacher, I am flexible and aim to follow each student's interests - I know that students learn best when they are working on the music they actually want to play! I place a strong emphasis on music theory and ear training in addition to technical instrumental instruction, in order to help my students become well-rounded musicians. At the same time, I focus on instilling proper technique and healthy warmup habits to keep students playing and feeling their best. 

I am able to teach all levels of piano, as well as beginner/intermediate ukulele and guitar. I accept students of all ages, levels, and abilities.
