Hi! I’m a high school musician with experience on both flute and saxophone, and I love helping students build confidence and enjoy playing their instrument. I currently participate in multiple school ensembles, including jazz band, and I understand what it’s like to balance band class, auditions, and practice.

I’ve also been selected for honor bands, which has helped me develop strong musicianship, preparation skills, and attention to detail. This experience allows me to guide students through challenging music in a clear and encouraging way.

My teaching style is supportive, organized, patient, and student-centered. I focus on strong fundamentals such as tone, fingerings, rhythm, and music reading, while also helping students learn how to practice effectively so their time feels productive and manageable.

I’m especially great for beginner and middle-school students who want extra help, are new to their instrument, or want to feel more confident in band class. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s improving technique, preparing for auditions, or simply having more fun making music.
