Inspiration from the Life of John Lennon

John Lennon was an iconic beatle and one of the world’s most loved musicians. His music left a mark that still inspires generation after generation. As a singer, actor, songwriter, or composer, one of the best things about John Lennon is that he was always original. He was a great artist and a fascinating man whose life experiences can be a lesson, or a few, for those who would like to take his path as musicians.

He Sang In the Choir

Jon Lennon was a choirboy when he was young at the St. Peter’s Church. It is quite hard to believe that John, one of the greatest rock ‘n roll rebels of all time used to sing in a choir but that’s where he started his career. In addition to that, he was also a member of the Allerton Boy Scout Troop.

John Hated His Voice

As weird as this may sound, John truly hates his own voice and kept asking his producer to double-track his records. He kept asking his producer to cover his voice.

He Played Many Instruments

John Lennon was a man of many talents and playing music instruments was one of those talents. He started with a harmonica he got from a bus driver and he played in extensively in the beginning of his career to even record with the Beatles. He could play the banjo as well and so could he the guitar.

Inspiration from the Life of John Lennon

John Lennon started early in the career and this should teach music students that they do not have to wait until they are old enough to chase their dreams. Instead, they can harness them as early as they can sing.

Additionally, the fact that John hated his voice did not stop him from doing what he loved. This means that no matter what you think of yourself, the world might not perceive you in the same way and the least you could do is try.

Finally, people can also learn from John not to limit themselves through the fact that he played more than one instrument. It is always good to learn more skills because they come in handy to benefit you in life.
