THE ARTISTS:

Roxann Ferguson has performed in opera, operetta, music theatre, and improv. She is also a voiceover artist, maintains a private voice studio, and has received awards from the Sinfonietta Bel Canto Voice Competition, Orpheus Voice Competition, and Bel Canto Italian Opera Contest.

Rose Guccione is a singer, actress, web maven, university professor, and entrepreneur. She has performed extensively in opera, operetta, comedy, television, radio, and spoken theater in the Chicago area. She has performed in opera and recital in NYC, Bordeaux, Rome, Warsaw, and South Africa. She teaches courses in music and entrepreneurship in the Theatre Arts and Music Department at Dominican University. Luis Antonio Galvez-Alcantara, is Director of Music and Liturgy at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Founder and Executive Director of North Shore Opera Hour, on the Voice Faculty at Sherwood Community Music School at Columbia College and piano and voice instructor for the school, Piano Lessons In Your Home. Luis recently received the Peruvian Tumi Award. He has premiered over 50 songs from original composers, and most recently performed with the Falconaires Orchestra in Arlington Heights. Future performances include a Three Tenors Concert in Starved Rock, Illinois, Peruvian Independence Day Celebrations at the Daley Center, and sacred concerts at Durham Cathedral in Durham, England. Robbie Ellis is a composer, music director, improviser, broadcaster and other. He worked as a producer and presenter for Radio New Zealand Concert in Wellington, and in 2012 he held the University of Otago Mozart Fellowship in Dunedin. His works have been commissioned and performed by many prestigious performing arts organizations in his native New Zealand. Robbie has played piano, bass guitar, double bass, and many more objects besides in a wide spectrum of styles. He is a specialist in music for improvised theatre and has worked with improv companies across New Zealand, Australia, the USA and the Netherlands. Robbie also has done scripted theatre as a sound designer, composer, actor and director, is involved in the comedy scene, and founded the spontaneous songwriting night Song Sale in Dunedin and Auckland. Robbie now lives in Chicago, home of Kanye West, Barack Obama, and pizza that resembles quiche. He finds work as a music director for improv, comedy and sketch. Zachary Montasser relishes any and all opportunities to make music an engaging and enriching experience. His wide range of performance encompasses pieces composed by composers spanning 100’s of years, from Bach to Birtwistle. In 2012, he premiered a work for chamber ensemble by Noam Faingold at the Gamper Festival for Contemporary Music at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. Mr. Montasser co-founded the Clark St. Quartet in 2012, and has had the opportunity to perform traditional classical repertoire alongside his Clark St. comrades, as well as collaborate with other artists. In April 2013, the Clark St. Quartet provided musical accompaniment to a dance production called SEVEN, which features choreographed dance in confined space set to words and music that profoundly unify the human condition. Mr. Montasser teaches weekly at the People’s Orchestra at Logan’s Square (an El-Sistema based after-school orchestra program), where he plays for and provides assistance to children of all ages.
