Harmonic Foundations of Jazz and Improvisation

This is a live 6 week course meeting two(2) times a week covering many of the harmonic techniques used in jazz and improvisation. Guitar specific pdfs (in both Standard Notation and TAB) and a copy of my book Jazz Harmony Workbook and Text will also be supplied to all who attend. (This is the same text I use in my college courses).

You’ll not only learn these techniques conceptually , you’ll learn how to apply them creatively in your own music.

If you understand triads and major scales you’ll have no problem with this course. Likewise, if you’ve been playing for years and still struggle to understand the application of these concepts this course will clear things up for you.
