I have been teaching private cello lessons since 1989 and my students range in age from 4 through adult. I use a mixture of Suzuki and traditional literature depending on the student.

My students have been winners in numerous competitions and festivals, as well as going on to study cello in colleges such as Oberlin, Manhattan School of Music, Peabody, UCLA, etc. Many have have gone on to make cello their career as either members of orchestras, chamber groups or teachers.

In addition to teaching these types of serious students I also enjoy working with those who just "want to learn how to play for the fun of it." This applies to the young, as well as "young at heart" students. I have had amazing results with children as young as 3 and as seasoned as 80. It is all about wanting to learn!
