Thanks for visiting and considering my services as your private music instructor!

The passion for music initiated during my youth, prompting the participation in middle and high school bands. In the pursuit of becoming a music teacher, I earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a Master's Degree from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, Illinois.

My teaching career began wih five years in the St. James Parish School System where I taught instrumental courses, grades 7-12, at Lutcher High School (Louisiana). In 2006 I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia seeking opportunities of professional growth. I became the Director of Bands at Langston Hughes High School where my job duties include building a comprehensive music program while instructing Concert Band, Marching Band, Music Appreciation and Beginning-Intermediate Piano Courses.

Currently I live in Fairburn, Georgia with my wife and three daughters. When I'm not teaching or performing music, I enjoy fishing, cooking, traveling and spending time with family. I love helping students achieve personal goals while becoming efficient music readers to maximize full potential in musical performance.
